My homage to Turquoise!
I love the color, and I love the precious stones and jewelry made with it. This dreamlike image popped into my mind one day, it looked to so beautiful I just had to paint it and titled it “Turquoise Earrings”.

Inspired and painted for my daughter. She requested a painting showing her as an ancient queen in a Scottish setting. As a result I came up with this romantic piece. It became her birthday surprise - she loves it!
